As a qualified and experienced Psychotherapist/Clinical Social Worker, Josh specialises in working with clients with trauma (PTSD), anxiety, depression and chronic conditions by providing Therapy from Body-Mind perspectives rather than just ‘talk therapy’.

Josh uses Buddhist Psychotherapy as his therapeutic framework, which is a non-religious, brain science and compassion-oriented framework. 

Buddhist Psychotherapy combines evidence-based counselling methods with body-mind integrative practices. 

The Body-Mind processing approaches Josh uses include:

  • EMDR Therapy,

  • Meridian Tapping (EFT and TFT)

  • Havening Techniques

  • Mindfulness

  • Somatic Approaches

  • Focusing

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy

  • Process-Experiential/Emotion-focused Therapy

As a therapist, Josh believes that everybody has their own healing power within. Josh sees his role as a therapist is to help people connect with their inner wisdom by providing a safe empathetic space. He enjoys working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and LGTIQA+ community.
